On Thursday of last week, Emerson started taking a couple of steps on her own. Although by Saturday she could only take up to 3 steps on her own, that didn't stop "Eager" Emerson from attempting to carry one of her toys while she walked (a bulky one at that). Below is a video of her frustration. Keep in mind that she wasn't trying to "move" the toy. She just got it in her head that she wanted to carry it while she walked. Stubborn and determined, she finally accomplished her task. The end is hillarious b/c she ultimately gets fed up.

Go Baby Emerson what an acomplishment walking and carrying such a big toy. I especially liked it when she kicked it with one foot and then put the ring on it. Oh and I saw the Blah Blah too.

She is so cute. I was so disappointed when I didn't get to see yall and then you came in town again, Nate snitched, and I didn't get to see you again. Anyways that is so exciting that she is moving and grooving by herself. She is beautiful. Talk with you soon. Jen
