I am selling my double BOB and find that very sad as lots of memories were made in that stroller. During the summer of 2009 those 3 wheels racked up some mileage - rain, heat, humidity, regardless that thing was always rolling up or down Liberty Pike! The irony is that I spent Summer of 2009 at home, on maternity leave. Now 2 years later, I am at home, again, finding myself consumed with the stroller but instead of using it I am selling it... And I am NOT on maternity leave but rather enjoying some down time in between jobs! Closing chapters always makes me sad, even the not so great ones.
I have enjoyed my time off so much. I have organized, cleaned, sewed, monogrammed and started blogging again!
Today, was a BUSY day! Emerson and I got up and went to a Kid Fit fun walk in WestHaven, then to a charity sale, then to swim lessons. After it was all said and done, Emerson had completed a triathlon! She rode her bike 3/4 mi, swam (like a CHAMP, taking breaths and using correct strokes), then ran laps around the gym with a friend!
The girls are at great ages, Emerson is so sweet and thoughtful while McCall is so FUNNY! Tonight, at dinner, Emerson sang a song to McCall about how much she loved her. McCall looked at her, with a very mean look, and said "No, you don't!" Later tonight, the following conversation took place between McCall and I:
McCall: "Can I hab that?" she points at ruler on floor
Me: "No. I'm using it."
McCall: "I wanna take it to its Mommy."
Me "No. Wait...what? Where is its Mommy?"
McCall then walks over to closet, brings out yardstick
