Today we tried another church, a catholic church downtown. It is a very pretty church and overall we enjoyed but we are still deciding. Thus far our favorite is the Methodist church, which is also in historic downtown but I am having a very hard time letting go of my Catholic roots but I think we are working on a compromise! After church we went to lunch, then walking around downtown. It is so nice with lots to see and do plus great shopping! After we got home Chris & I took turns napping!!
After our naps we walked to the grocery store for batteries but that excursion turned into much more than just batteries! On the way home we were able to play the ipod through the speakers on Emerson's stroller - that is so cool! (Thank you Aunt Cindy & Uncle Kim). At first we played Emerson's kiddie songs, which was hilarious but also a bit embarrassing. We sounded like the ice cream truck!
On the food front! Emerson started pears yesterday - this is her first fruit! The reason we started this particular fruit first is b/c it was on sale! ha ha.. frugal mommy!
Lastly but not least we had visitors on Friday night! Michael & Whitney came to visit us from Ohio! This is the first visit from friends that we met while in St. Louis. It was fun catching up, reminiscing about old times and how EVERYTHING is so different now. While they were here Michael was playing with Emerson and not knowing her abilities he sat her up rather than laying her on the floor - like we do and to my surprise she sat up! Sitting up is not something that happens over night and I realized that she is now capable of sitting without support, I have been depriving the opportunity to show off her new skills! Thank you Michael for the revelation!!!

Emerson is not the only that makes a good picture. I really looks sunny there and everyone is so happy. Keeping them coming and Alli I am waiting for the video.
Love to all-GranMollie
Are you going to First United Methodist of Franklin? That's where Ella Ray and I go...we normally go to the contemporary service in the fellowship hall...unless Buck goes with us then we go to the traditional service in the chapel...he's catholic too and also has a hard time letting go of his "mass" traditions....hope you enjoy it if that is the church you are talking about...I love it there!
She is getting cuter and cuter. You look great to! It's looks like you are back to your normal size. I'm still fighting it. We will have to get the little ones together soon. Thanks again for all the help with the blog. I love doing it!!!!
Love,
Jenny
