Well we have tried many solids now and Emerson seems to be doing very well with all of them! Sunday she had bananas for breakfast, turkey vegetable dinner & peas for lunch, sweet potatoes for a late afternoon snack and turkey vegetable dinner for dinner. She spit up a lot after the sweet potatoes, I guess the large variety of food that she had eaten over the course of the day did not agree with her.
Developments:
She has started to crawl and is trying to pull up. As a result we have built her very own "Gated Community". Normally these are designed to keep out "undesirables" but instead we are keeping a very desirable little girl in sight. She is all over the place. We now have 1/2 of our bonus room blocked off & devoted to the princess! All of her toys are in one place - it looks so fun but from time to time she will get bored and sometimes she plays so hard she falls asleep. Thank you Lucas for the GREAT idea - I love my community! Teh funny thing abotu these 3 pictures is that they were taken on 2 differnt days but she is wearign the same outfit... It is one of my favorites!
The rest of the Lane Family:
Chris' practice is doing well, GSK is treating me well and we have joined a new church! Our plan is to get really involved in the church, meet a lot of people and grow some roots within the community! Emerson always goes with us, we do not take her to the nursery typically she sleeps but not this past 2 weekends - she talked the whole way through. It was very cute, at least she was not fussing!
Social:
We all went to the Main Street Festival and had a really good time - there were lots of vendors, entertainment & great weather! Attached is a picture of Emerson displaying her "fang".
