We went to Chick Fil A again tonight b/c kids eat free! Emerson had a great time and ate 2 - 4 pack nuggets! I do not know where she puts all the food! Normally fast food is not on her menu but she does not eat the fries and we feel that once a week the "fast food" chicken is ok, especially since it is steamed not fried & it is chick fil a chicken!!
On the way home, Chris & I ate a free ice cream cone, we purposely ate it in the car b/c we did not want to eat this in front of her b/c she is not allowed to have any sweets. From the back seat we hear "no, no, no" she was saying "snow" b/c she could see our white ice cream. This made us feel kind of bad but teh same time very impressed that she knows what snow is plus got over it pretty quickly!! Looks like Chris and I are going to have to cut sweets out of our diet b/c we cannot hide it from smarty pants anymore! This is a well overdue sacrifice!
Last night (Monday) I found myself in the E.R. b/c of a horrible ear infection. Today I went to see the ENT and found out that it was inflammation of the ear drum, basically a "blister" on my ear drum. Chris looked at it through an otoscope and was very sympathetic after seeing it, he was also extremely comforting and sympathetic at 2 am when I was crying like a baby! I also have 2 other girlfriends that have had ear infections lately! The ENT said that mine was the result of a virus attacking my ear drum. VERY painful but much better today!!

Oh Alli - a blister on your ear drum? OUCH! We hide sweets all the time. :) She'll thank you when she is older and not sick all the time like her friends! :)
